 Dancer

Hazel trained at the Royal Ballet School. She worked as a ballerina initially, moving into contemporary and dance theatre after an ankle operation. She has toured extensively worldwide, working with dance companies and choreographers and as a freelance dancer. Career highlights include performing at The Royal Opera House, Sydney Opera House and for the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.

Hazel has worked as director, movement director/choreographer and rehearsal director in both dance and opera for many companies worldwide. She has been the public face of nationally funded companies and led pre-performance talks and audience Q and A’s.
